Honourable Minister breaks the BURS head office ground at the CBD

The excavated pit that would in future house the BURS Head Office staff was streaming with enthusiastic distinguished guests from government, parastatals and press to witness the monumental groundbreaking ceremony.

In his welcome remarks, the Commissioner General, Mr. Ken Morris gave an overview of BURS mandate and the milestones that BURS has achieved as organization.

“BURS developed strategies aimed at meeting the government’s overarching goal of improving service delivery. Currently head office operations are handled in two different offices which are not only inadequate but cause great inconvenience to our customers,” explained the CG. This as a result culminated into the journey to build the future home of BURS.
